2023: It’s time to look up to Mai Doki for salvation, group tells Kebbi South

The Director General of Mai Doki Support Organisation, Sani Maiwa, has assured that the senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Kebbi South, Garba Musa Mai Doki, is endowed with the capacity and drive to restore to the glory path, the fortunes of the senatorial district by addressing the prevailing security challenges in the area.

Speaking to newsmen in Abuja over the weekend, Maiwa said the PDP candidate is willing to bail the people out from acute poverty, misrepresentation, insecurity and unemployment if elected senator during the 2023 general elections.

“Mai Doki will be transparent in all his doings and will prove to the people of his dexterity and zeal to serve and to impact on the people the dividends of democracy,” he said.

Maiwa explained that “most villages in the senatorial zone have been ransacked by bandits while the people have deserted their homes, living the area empty with no remedy or humanitarian assistance from their electorate,” and appealed to the people to have a new spirit in electing those who will serve them with all their might.

According to him, the current insecurity in the area has turned many to beggars and rendered them homeless.

According to him, Mai Doki has before now provided employments to the youth in Zuru Emirate and awarded scholarship to many, including the less privileged and orphans to study in post-primary and tertiary institutions, saying, at the moment, over 130 students are undergoing diploma courses in computer science , courtesy of Mai Doki.

He also said Mai Doki has given out financial grants to people to start petty businesses; and as a grassroots mobiliser, he is always at home to listen to their needs in order to proffer solutions to them.
