2023: JAMB reveals how to kick-off UTME registration 

Candidates who desire to apply for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and the Direct Entry (DE) have been asked to  study the requirements before filling in the application form. 

According to the statement made available to Blueprint Monday by JAMB’s Head, Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr Fabian Benjamin, candidates were advised to avail themselves of the eligibility checker on the IBASS platform.

“They are to note that the Eligibility Checker on the IBASS platform is to assist candidates with options of programmes/courses based on their subject combination/qualifications.

“To use the platform, candidates are to scan the QR code provided on the Board’s website and its other social media handles as well as its advertisements announcing the commencement of the sales of application documents to access IBASS for the brochure and syllabuses. 

“Alternatively, they can also visit 

https://www.jamb.gov.ng, select Quick Link and then IBASS to access the e-brochure and syllabuses,” the statement reads in part.

Benjamin said the QR code is also on the JAMB Android Mobile App 

(JAMB IBASS) from the Google Play Store, and charged candidates to ensure that they do the needful to enable them make the right decisions while filling in their application documents.
