2023: Lawmaker inaugurates campaign council, commissions projects in Nasarawa

Barely a month to the 2023 general elections, the member representing Awe/Doma/Keana Federal Constituency of Nasarawa state, Hon. Abubakar Nalaraba  has inaugurated his campaign council with Thomos Ogri as the Director General.

Inaugurating the campaign council on Sunday, in Awe Local Government Area of the state, Nalaraba said his achievements in the last four years were a tip of an iceberg.

According to him, if he is re-elected he would surpass his previous achievements, and attract more projects to his constituency for his constituents to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

He explained that over 30 projects were executed and commissioned which includes construction of a modern abattoir/slaughter slab in Doma, construction of a multi-purpose hall and road in Awe, provision of over thirty (30) solar powered boreholes  in the electoral wards of Awe, Doma and Keana federal constituency and many others.

The special guest of honour at the occasion, Governor Abdullahi Sule, who was represented by his deputy, Dr Emmanuel Akabe, gave the legislature a pat on the back for executing projects across the three local governments he represents.

The governor, however, called on other politicians to emulate Nalaraba, saying that the projects are worthy of commendation and serve as campaign tools for APC in the state.

Also speaking, the Senator representing Nasarawa south, Alhaji Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, also thanked the legislature for effective representation, and urged the electorate to go and collect their PVCs and vote for all the candidates of APC.

Al-Makura, however, appealed for a rancor- free election, and urged the electorate in the state to vote for Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Governor Abdullahi Sule and all candidates of APC, for more dividends of democracy.
