2023: Let’s play by the rules, AbdulRazaq advises politicians

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state has advised political gladiators in the country to play the games by the rules as they seek power ahead of the 2023 general elections.

According to the governor, “Nigeria must not fail.”

He urged all citizens to shun violence of any kind and rather discuss issues that would deepen good governance.

AbdulRazaq gave the admonition in his address delivered Thursday at the 28th convocation ceremony of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, where 7, 781 students graduated with 102 bagging distinctions.

Represented by his deputy, Mr. Kayode Alabi, the governor said Nigerians should also take the issue of security is every body’s business and play their roles to ensure “a safe and secured nation for all.”

“Nigeria must not fail. As we head to another general election, we have a duty to play by the rules, shun violence or any kind, and discuss issues that will deepen good governance. Security is the business of all of us. I urge us to play our roles,” he said.

Governor AbdulRazaq said his administration was daily “breaking new grounds” in the education and other sectors which were evident in the improved infrastructure development in the institution.
