2023: Nigeria will work again with Tinubu – Sen. Adeyeye

A former Minister of State for Works, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, has said Nigeria if left in the visionary hands of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will work again like in the days of first republic.

Adeyeye made this known during the inauguration of Akwa Ibom Stakeholders for Asiwaju Tinubu (AKISAT) 2023, a volunteer-oriented political support group over the weekend in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state capital.

He said the current situation the country is facing does not need a greenhorn politician with no capacity and feasible blueprint to redeem the nation but only looking for a name.

Adeyeye revealed that already many political movements with members in the 36 states of the federation and the federal capital territory have begun massive support for the emergence of former Lagos state governor, Tinubu as presidential candidate for the coming 2023 elections.

“Nigeria currently is facing a lot of challenges. I believe the challenges were are facing now have never been faced before since independent.

“Today, there is problem of insecurity in the whole country, economy is not being as we expected and population is growing at a geometrical progression. There is also issue of ethic tension arising from insecurity by herdsmen attack.

“At this time Nigeria only needs Asiwaju Tinubu. In his time as Lagos state governor, staff salaries, developmental projects, philanthropic activities never stopped even when the then president refused to give allocation to the state.

“Think about it, if he did that in Lagos and we never heard Lagos State going into recession at the time, what if he had the whole country struggling to manage her abundant resources? Let us ponder upon that.

“That is the man of caliber and pedigree, a charismatic and selfless leader we pray to canvass support for to pilot the affairs of this nation, and take this nation to the promise land,” he said.

He commended the people of Akwa Ibom for coming together as a formidable group to support Tinubu ambition saying the movement will serve as the driving force for the actualization of the presidency of Ahmed Tinubu come 2023.

Also speaking, Akwa Ibom state coordinator for Tinubu support group Mr. Ekpe James said the movement is a collection of individuals who believe in the capacity of Senator Tinubu to turn the country around and bring the desired change

Ekpe explained that Asiwaju Tinubu who is the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) was the only Nigerian alive with the capacity to save the country from the multi-dimensional socio-economic and ethno-religious distractions and sentiments.
