A Fulani leader and chairman of Maliya cattle market, Malam Saleh Manga, has declared the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) governorship candidate Yakubu Maidoya in Nasarawa state as the next governor.
Manga made this known in a statement issued on Monday, in Karu, stating that Maidoya will floor incumbent governor Abdullahi Sule who is seeking reelection on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) before 12 noon to emerge victorious.
He described Maidoya as the only candidate that has all it takes to change the fortunes of the state for good if elected in this year’s gubernatorial election.
The fulani however, called on supporters and party faithful not to relent towards mobilising voters across the state in order to guarantee landslide victory.
He also warned youths against being used for thuggery before, during and after the general elections.
Last week, Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore endorsed the reelection bid of governor Sule.
