2023: Obi launches presidential campaign in Nasarawa

The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, Saturday, launched his campaign in Lafia, Nasarawa state capital ahead of the 2023 general election.

He said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has failed Nigerians, therefore Labour Party has launched a movement to liberate Nigeria from its current fractured state.

He said there was need to urgently redeem the country from the current socio-economic challenges, and Labour Party is the only party ready and prepared to rescue Nigeria.

The presidential candidate promised to reinvigorate the collapsed system of economy, Insecurity, Agriculture, and lack of infrastructural development.

He urged the people to vote for the LP in the in order to end hunger, starvation, poverty and insecurity in the country.

He promised to form a government that is energetic.

“If government of Peter Obi and Datti come into power, we will make sure that people go back to school,we will create job for our youths, support us, we mean well to you, we are young like you and we are ready for the job to form an energetic government,” he said.

He promised to run a youth-driven administration.

“We will support youths because today Nigerian youths don’t have a hope, we will solve your problems.

“Go and start campaigning for us don’t listen to those people that stole your money the money given to you it is your money, that is why you are hungry, that is why you don’t have a job we will give you back your Job, we will give you the country you would proud of to called Nigeria,” he said.

The National chairman of the party, Julius Abure, called on the people of the state especially the youth to vote for the LP, and Peter Obi as president in order to create massive employment and reduce restiveness in the country.
