2023: PDP chieftain predicts victory for party


A business mogul and chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kebbi state, Alhaji Abdulmalik Haliru Milton, has predicted all round success for the party in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

He made the assertion Monday in Birnin Kebbi while addressing journalists on his recent defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to join the PDP, expressed optimism that his new political party would emerged successful at all levels in the upcoming contests.

According to him, the opponent APC has not performed creditably to convince Nigerians that they could salvage them, “The electorates can testify that the 16 years of PDP rule has tremendously made a lots of impacts on the lives of the citizenry but just barely five years of APC rule, people are getting tired of them.”

Milton further argued that the qualitative kind of leadership style left behind by the PDP still remains in erasable in the minds of Nigerians.

He said PDP left behind legacies of peoples oriented projects with direct bearings on the lives of the downtrodden and that also were some of the reasons why he decided to defects from his former party.

He urged all party members to remain united and face the challenges of losing election squarely and cast their minds on the next elections as according to him “in every contest there must be a winner and a loser, victory always come from God and coupled with hard work,” he said.

He prayed that “by the grace of God, it would be a victory as the party has geared towards mending its fences.
