Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has said the opposition in the state had resorted to blackmailing him, stressing that they lacked ideas of what to say on his administration.
He stated this Friday in Wamba LGA while speaking to the people in continuation of his state-wide campaign ahead of the 2023 general elections.
He stated that “they can only appeal to sentiments, resorting to cheap blackmail” of his personality by telling people not to re-elect him because he is not a politician, but a businessman.
Governor Sule said his knowledge and experience from the private sector prepared him to provide exceptional leadership to the people of Nasarawa state which saw to the attraction of investors and other infrastructure development.
“Today, Nasarawa state can boast of paying across both state and local government areas, two months’ salaries even if there is delay in the disbursement of federal allocation,” he said.
