The Director General, Nigeria Diaspora For Asiwaju, NDA, Dr. Lee Akin Badeji has described the former Lagos state governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu asthe best option for the All Progressives Congress (APC) as its presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections.
Badeji while speaking to news men on Thursday described Tinubu as a man of honour, a bridge builder and patriot, who will unite the country and salvage it from its current challenges.
The Director General said that the chances of APC retaining power next year would be brighter if the former Lagos governor is adopted as the party’s flagbearer.
“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is one candidate that presents an intimidating credential that can guarantee electoral success for the APC in the presidential election.
“The APC should initiate mechanisms towards sensitising its members on the benefits of consensus building towards the actualisation of the presidential ambition of Tinubu,”
He described Tinubu as a politician love by all and that he could win elections across the Southern states without the party having to do so much before the electorate could cast their votes for APC during the exercise.
