2023: Yahaya Bello won’t drop ambition – APC Vanguard

Niger state chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Youth Vanguard has maintained that Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state will not drop 2023 presidential ambition because he represents over 70% of Nigerian youths.

The State Coordinator APC Youth Vanguard, Abubakar Mohammed Achis stated this Tuesday in a press briefing in Minna,.

Achis said that the call by some groups on Yahaya Bello to drop his presidential ambition is inimical to progressive and collective interest of youths in the country.

He said, “Governor Yahaya Bello represents us the youths in the 2023 presidential race with over 70 percent support. The North Central zone needs to take its shot this time at presidency and Yahaya Bello is a perfect choice”.

He implored Nigerians to disregard sponsored agitators against the popular call to zone 2023 presidency to the North Central for fairness and justice, adding that the zone been sidelined since 1999.

He said, “Kogi governor has shown his competency, zeal, youthfulness, confidence and vibrancy as well as his leadership style to lead this country”.

He therefore urged Governor Yahaya Bello not to be distracted in the pursuit of his 2023 presidential ambition while assuring him of youth and women support in Niger state
