The Zamfara state commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Mohammad Bello Muazu, has reiterated that the personnel of the corps in the state will maintain high level of professionalism, discipline and neutrality during the period of electioneering as a build up towards 2023 general elections.
The commandant of the corps, MB Muazu, stated this when the officials of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Zamfara state chapter, paid him a courtesy visit in the state command, Gusau, weekend.
He stated that the corps being a stakeholder in election matters will do all it could to ensure a smooth 2023 electioneering periods.
He reaffirmed that the confidence built on the corps by the general public over the years will be maintained, sustained and strengthened.
