Reacting to the development in his office, the state Commissioner for Education, Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah Gusau, confirmed the suspension of the three female students, saying their suspension was as a result of making cooking in their dormitory under Neath of their beds which was prohibited by the state government through his ministry as well as inviting their parents to fragrance the principal in public and stay beside clapping their hands and booing the principal.

Dr. Ibrahim also denied the alleged depriving them to sit for their final exam but insisted that the suspension is still on until their parents and the affected students come with a written apology statement for what they did against the personality of the principal. He added that, failure to do so; the state government through his ministry will take a decisive action against both the parents and the affected students.
