30 privates’ schools set for youth Afrolympics games in Abuja

Over 30 private secondary schools are set to storm the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja for the second edition of the of Pan African Youth Friendship Games (PAF-G) and AU-ECOSOCThe games from Friday, July 5th to 6th 2019.

The games include; table tennis and lawn tennis explosion for singles, doubles, and mix doubles.

PAF-G is a sports initiative aimed at repositioning the continent of Africa to attain its rightful place in Global Sports.

According to the statement from the director, corporate affairs, Mr. Oba Olasunkanmi John, said: “Tackling the enormous problem of economic recession including poverty, unemployment, underemployment, diseases, environmental degradation requires the participation of us all and if indeed Africa must rise again, the time to act is now.

“Sports development among is a catalyst and powerful force to promote human capital development as well as effect quality living.

“It cuts across children and Youths of both sexes from ages 08-35 years who are actually the engine room of any nation and with their vitality, strength, capacity, capability and numerous numbers in the population.

“AFROLYMPICS has the answer to the economic recession and an antidote to all the social devices,” he said.
