3SC shift training for slain player, Tiamiyu

In honour of Remo Stars assistant captain, Tiamiyu Kazeem, who died last Saturday, the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) Monday training has been cancelled.

According to the chief coach of the Oluyole Warriors, Edith Agoye, the development became necessary as the entire 3SC team joins other Nigerians in mourning the departed Tiamiyu.

“We are saddened by the unfortunate death of one of us, Tiamiyu Kazeem, a player of Remo Stars  who passed on last weekend  and we have decided to honour him in our own little way by calling off Monday’s training.

“We pray that God grants him eternal rest just as we pray that God will console the family he left behind , his colleagues and friends,” said coach Agoye.

Meanwhile, the Ibadan soccer lords will resume training on Tuesday morning, in preparation for the resumption of hostilities in the Nigeria National League (NNL), which has been slated to rested on Saturday, March 14.
