57th anniversary: Dunamis donates food to less privileged in FCT

It was a cheerful moment for orphanages and the less privileged in Kubwa, a suburb situated in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) when Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Phase 4, donated food items to them as part of activities marking Nigeria’s 57th Independence celebrations. Th e church shared the joy of independence with patients at Kubwa General Hospital, King’s Care Hospital, Unity Clinic and Maternity, children at the Divine Wounds of Jesus Orphanage, Ark of Refuge Orphanage, Kubwa Divine Orphanage and Detainees at Police Area Command Headquarters in Kubwa. Pastor of the Church, Great Olusegun Ayodele, said the donation was part of the church’s social responsibilities to its host community. He prayed for the recipients and enjoined them to renew their faith in God who is able to set them free from all affl ictions and restore their destinies. He said Nigeria would be great again if merit was pivotal in appointing public offi cers. He prayed for sustainable democracy, peace and unity in the country and urged the populace to be patriotic in the onerous task of building a strong, virile, progressive and decent nation.
