The Jigawa state High Court of Justice sitting in Birni Kudu city,
Monday, has sentenced a 72-year-old one Sabi’u Suleiman of Kiyawa
town of the state for committing Sodomy with an underage boy.
The old man Suleiman was found guilty of committing homosexuality with 15-year old Isa Amadu sometime this year at Kiyawa town of Jigawa state.
Passing out the Judgment Hon, Justice Musa Ubale sais the Honorable Court has satisfied beyond reasonable doubt concrete evidences given by a one student Malam Ibrahim Bala ,Shua’ibu Isa Muhammad and Dr. Nurse Tajuddeenof who is working with Primary heal care of KIyawa local government of the state.
Hon, Justice Musa Ubale disclosed that he sentenced the convict to
life imprisonment under section 284 sub section[2] of the criminal act of Jigawa state.
Therefore, the Honorable Justice Ubale has given 90 days [three
months] to appeal the judgment if he was not satisfied.
