8 kidnapped RCCG members’ release cheering – PFN

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) on Friday hailed the release of the kidnapped eight members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

PFN through its president who is also the presiding Bishop of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries Ibadan, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, described the news of the eventual release of the kidnapped RCCG members as “cheering.”

“The news of the freedom regained by the kidnapped eight members of the RCCG is indeed heartwarming and delightful. We thank the Lord for this and more. Our security agents and other relevant stakeholders that were involved in the exercise that culminated into these commendable efforts need to be praised,” he said.

While lauding the security agents for a job well-done, the PFN president urged the security agents to double their efforts in ensuring that “those still being held captive regain their freedom,” noting that the country could only develop “when peace exists.”
