The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has said it received a fresh set of 157 Nigerian returnees comprising 54 adult females, 90 adult males, three children and 10 infants.
Amongst the returnees are eight pregnant women and one medical case who returned to the country aboard the BURAQ Airlines Boeing 737-800 with registration number 5A-DMG, which arrived Murtala Muhammed International Airport at 9:45 pm on Tuesday.
The Director General of NEMA, who received the returnees, admonished them to turn a new leaf as they have seen that there’s no greener pasture anywhere outside the country.
The NEMA DG, who was represented by South west Zonal Coordinator, Alhaji Suleiman Yakubu, assured the returnees that the federal government was doing everything possible to bring back all Nigerians that were willing to return as special incentives were being put in place for all to restart their lives.
