Dear Peter Obi’s fans/followers,
With pain, it befalls me when someone criticises or speaks about Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, and gets attacked by the ‘#OBIdients’. this is not politics, it’s idiocy.
However, I suggest we reflect back to General Muhammadu Buhari. At his peak, if you dare speak anything bad about him or go against him, you would be seen as an agnostic, with a frown face, his fans/followers will be mute when you come in their midst and egress, as his critics, you must be ready to be bullied.
Nonetheless, these same people are the ones crying, they are mostly the ones hard hit by Buhari’s bad governance ‘even though all of us are hit in one way or the other’. in the past and present, we are yet to witness massive love and support shown to a politician like that of Buhari, yet his government is running down as the worst in the history of our country, Nigeria.
Buhari’s reign should serve as a warning to all of us, we don’t have to paint anyone dirty in order to show our love to a politician, we’ve got to elude from such substandard nasty etiquette.
During Buhari’s search for power, then President Goodluck Jonathan was the most abused by Buhari and his followers, yet they are now close and working together. Are you not ashamed seeing these politicians mingle together?
We shouldn’t be ready to face yet another eight years of incompetence for our dear Nigeria. Nigeria belongs to all of us. Politics not fight, dear Peter Obi’s loyalists. May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
