A/Ibom community in Nasarawa seeks Gov Emmanuel’s re-election

The Akwa Ibom community in Nasarawa state has expressed support for Governor Udom Emmanuel for what they described as ‘the effective piloting of the affairs of the state,” saying his stewardship in the last two and half years is commendable.
Speaking through their president, Mr. Ephraim Udofia, in a press statement made available to newsmen in Nyanya Gwandara, Karu local government area, yesterday, the community said the governor’s effort in moving the state forward deserved their support for his second term in 2019.
“We heartily congratulate the people of Akwa Ibom state and Nigerians in general for celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ in peace. We want to use this period to ask our people in Nigeria and in the Diaspora to lend their support to our governor for his modest contribution in the last few years,” the statement noted.
Udofia also advised Akwa Ibom parents to guide their children and against negative vices in order to forestall negative occurrences at this period of fetivities.
He specifically congratulated the new liaison officer, Akwa Ibom house in Abuja, Mr. Aniefiok Ekwere for his appointment as well as the Special Assistant on Grassroots Mobilisation, Mr. Emmanuel Inyang for his grassroots coordination of Akwa Ibom people in the 19 northern states and the Diaspora.
