Abaji chairman vows to secure residents’ lives, property

Chairman of Abaji Area Council, Hon. Yahaya Garba Gawu, has assured residents of the council of his administration’s determination to ensure the protection of their lives and properties.
The Council boss said gave the assurance during a public sensitisation and enlightenment campaign which was organised for youth.

He noted that the security challenges currently rocking the nation should be given be further scrutinise, especially as the nation approaches the general election.
Condemning Monday’s attack at a motor park in Nyanya, Gawu urged residents to be cautious and report any movement they are not pleased with to the security agents.

He added that his administration would continue to work closely with security personnel and other relevant body to ensure the safety of the residents.
Gawu further pointed out that his administration would evolve a strategy aimed at empowering the youth in the council, warning them against any act that would breach the peaceful coexistence in the Council.
