Abia 2003: I’ll develop blueprint for even development in Ikwuano Umuahia – Agbarikwu

The American trained engineer, Chief Ogbonna Agbarikwu, has promised to develop a blueprint on how to fast track development for Ikwuano Umuahia federal Constituency if elected in 2023.

The House of Reps candidate also while decried the poor infrastructural deficits of the constituency.

Agbarikwu who is contesting on the platform of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), stated this  in an interview with newsmen at the weekend in Umuahia.

He noted that those that are representing the people have not done enough to attract developmental projects to the area contrary the expectations of the people not minding abundant human resources at the disposal of the federal constituency waiting endlessly to be tapped.

“There are no good schools in Abia and Ikwuano Umuahia, no good road network, salaries of Local Government workers are not paid as at when due, security situation is practically non existent, there are total chaos in our streets in Abia, no jobs for teeming youths, our young graduates now resort to doing odd jobs to eke out a living.”
“These happenings are under the watch of Hon Sam Onuigbo of APC led federal government and the ruling PDP government in Abia,” Engr Agbarikwu said.

He explained that the electorate have to choose between him and contenders from other parties in the forthcoming general election noting that he has what it takes to give effective representation to Ndi Ikwuano Umuahia if given the nod in 2023.

To this end, he promised to reverse the ugly trend by developing a blueprint as a tested and experienced engineer that would bring workable solutions to the near total collapse of infrastructural in Ikwuano/ UmuahiaHe said, “as an an engineer by profession, I can establish a blueprint that can benefit the local government Chairmen, the Senator representing Abia Central and governor irrespective of party affiliations if i am elected to represent the good people of Ikwuano Umuahia in 2023.”

He boasted that given his wealth of experience in Engineering and having worked for the best top three American Engineering firms before setting up his own that he has incredible ideas to transform to reality if given the mandate.
He maintained that though he has been living all his life in United States but that there is no year ,he did not visit home three to four times in a year, saying that he is conversant with problems and yearnings of his people.
