Abiodun, act fast

I am using this medium to appeal to the Ogun state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, to act as fast as possible, as the committees he has been setting up since the inception of his administration have no positive impact on the people of the state.

I observed too that most of the recommendations of these committees are not followed up or implemented by the governor, especially that of Tai Solarin College of Education, being headed by Prof. Kamaldeen Balogun, which led to the sudden death of no fewer than 20 members of staff of the college.

What is Abiodun doing with three months’ deduction of civil servants? What about six years of leave bonuses, yet all the roads in the state are in deplorable conditions? The governor is simply paying a lip service to these things all this while.

I urge the governor to emulate his Oyo state counterpart, Governor Seyi Makinde, and stop inaugurating useless committees that are of no value to the state.
