“Agriculture is contributing a lot in the fight against unemployment in the country,” he said.
According to him, his college has over the years played a significant role in the nation’s development by training middle manpower in agricultural extension and management.

Sa’id said the college’s contribution in Northern part of the country led to the establishment of annex campuses in Kaduna, Kabba in Kogi state and Bakura in Zamfara state.
He commended the efforts of Malam Idris Barau, an expert at beekeeping, who facilitated the collaboration between the two parties.
Responding, the Country Director of the NGO, Mr Mike Bassey, said the organisation and the college would jointly work to conduct an institutional performance assessment with a view to identifying gaps and their causes in order to address them.
