It was celebrations galore Thursday at the national secretariat of Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC), as its national chairman, Amb.(Rev). Samuel Ikpea, received yet another honour when he was conferred with the ‘ Leadership Excellence Hero’ award by BollyJoe Communications Limited, the owners of BOJ TV, Abuja.
Speaking during the occasion, CEO of BOJ TV, Comrade Joseph Onoko stated that the honour bestowed on Amb. Ikpea, was in recognition of his immense and selfless contributions to the development of sports in Nigeria.
” We are glad to honour Ambassador Samuel Ikpea with this prestigious award after due diligence and research on his contributions to national development,” Onoko said.
” We believe this honour would further spur him into doing better and bigger things for Nigeria,” he added.
In his acceptance speech, an elated Ikpea thanked the organizers for the recognition. Adding that he appreciates the honour and would certainly continue to contribute his best to the development of sports and Nigeria, in general.
” I am glad and grateful for this award bestowed on me. I say a big thank you and dedicate this award to my family, friends, associates and indeed, the entire members of NFSC home and diaspora,” Amb. Ikpea responded.
