AD Rufa’i CLIS Misau needs FM station

Radio is an audio device of passing messages to a large audience. Radio involves the process by which messages are sent through electrical waves. In other words, the sound could be sent and received through these waves. The word radio is defined as the process of sending and receiving messages through the air, using electromagnetic waves. It is also about the activity of broadcasting programmes for people to listen to the programmes being broadcast.

The Department of Mass Communication, A.D Rufa’i College of Education, Legal and General Studies, Misau in Bauchi state needs an urgent intervention from the state government. Governor Bala Mohammed should build an FM radio station like that of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi because it will help in producing quality graduates.

The college and department had struggled for years without s radio station that can be operated within the campus which is mainly for education purposes where students, especially of the mass communication department, would learn the art of journalism and other media studies.

The radio station, if constructed, will be of tremendous benefit to the people of Misau and environs among many others. This is because it will also help in boosting the economic activities of many people and producing quality graduates from the college.

I urge Governor Bala Mohammed and the authorities concerned to do the needful to construct a radio station in A.D Rufa’i College of Education, Legal and General studies, Misau because of its important to the students of mass communication and the society at large.
