The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa state has denied being involved or plotting to impeach Governor Murtala Nyako.
A statement issued by the state chairman of PDP, Chief Joel Madaki, in Yola, said there was no plan by the PDP-led state Assembly to impeach Nyako.
“The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has no plan to impeach anybody as alleged,” he said.
Madaki said the purported plan to impeach Nyako as reported in media was not true, adding that the APC led government of the state should be blame for the myriads of problem befalling it.
He listed the problems to include lack of development and defection from the APC.

Madaki commended the all PDP state assembly for resolving to remain in PDP rather following Nyako to APC.
He also lauded the recent defection of the only three APC members in the house to PDP and assured them of equal treatment.
On the alleged split amongst PDP stakeholders in Adamawa, Madaki said the allegation was false and that the party was united and focused towards winning the 2015 general elections at all levels in the state.
