Adamu sues for peaceful co-existence among Nigerians


Senator representing Nasarawa west senatorial district of Nasarawa state, Abdullahi Adamu, weekend urged Nigerians to continue to tolerate and live in peace with one another.
He made the called in his message to marked the first Muharram 1441 AH celebration in Lafia.


Adamu said peace and unity are tools for National development thereby, Nigerians must strive to maintain them for the nation to move forward.


He equally called on Nigerians to pray for the peace, unity and progress of the country, just as he charged them to continuously pray for President Muhammad Buhari and all the leaders who are strenuously work towards solving Nigeria’s development challenges.


“As the muslim community marks yet another new Islamic year today, 1st Muharram 1441AH, on behalf of my family and constituents, I felicitate with the Muslim Ummah across the country on this joyous and memorable occasion.


“The period of a new year offers us an opportunity for sober reflection on our individual relationship with Allah, as well as, for prayers of unity, mutual understanding, peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance amongst all citizens.”


Adamu stressed that sustained prayers would restore in our patriotic values, peace, unity and security of the country, and prayed God to grant all Nigerians good health and prosperity all year through.
