The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Kaduna central, Kaduna state, in the 2023 elections, Lawal Adamu Usman, aka Mr. LA, has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid el-Kabir.
In a statement in Kaduna Friday, usman urged Nigerians to rise above personal, group, sectarian and other interests and promote harmony and tolerance in dealing with one another.
He advised the faithful to imbibe the lesson of the celebration and “make it a duty to sacrifice for others and to always remember those who are less privileged.”
“Eid-ul-Adha offers an opportunity to remember the submission of Prophet Ibrahim Alaihis-Salam to Allah, by which he taught the world the value of sacrifice in relating with one another.
“As the country prepares for the 2023 general elections, only those with registered PVCs would be able to vote candidates of their choice,” he said.
