Adamu wins APC house of representative primary in Jigawa

The Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC)  Resident Electoral Commissioner in charge of Jigawa state, Dr Mahmoud Isa, has announced Musa Mohammed Adamu as the winner of the Primary election conducted by All Progressives Congress (AOC) yesterday in Babura.

According to the INEC boss, Musa Mohammed Adamu scored 547 votes to defeat Idris Zangi Mohammed who got 21 votes and Aliyu Mohammed Adamu who scored 32 votes respectively.

He said the primary was conducted peacefully without any rancour.

 Adamu is the son of the late House of Representative member that died in December, 2019.
