We all know that Nigeria is bogged down by insecurity, bigotry, economic malaise, political uncertainties, among others. To tackle all the aforementioned problems bedeviling the country successfully, we have to think outside the box.

Citizens are usually used and dumped by politicians seeking elective offices. We should always be conscious of our family background and protect our integrity.

The few thousands of naira that they usually dole out to people when elections are near cannot cater for our needs for four years which is the constitutional fixed term of office.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) under the chairmanship of Prof. Mahmood Yakubu should strive to be transparent and honesty in conducting the elections. They should not allow petty cash to push them to perpetrate any unlawful act.

If this admonition is heeded, there will be progress and development in the country.
