After death of 2 Imams, Oyetola orders closure of Mosque in Osun community

After death of two Imams in Inisa, Odo-Otin local government of Osun state, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has ordered closure of the town’s central Mosque.

It was gathered that the leadership crisis over who becomes the Imam led to the death of two Imams and the crisis still persists.

The state government also banned the Mosque from holding congregation for Eid prayers.

Oyetola said the closure of the Mosque became necessary to forestall break down of law and avoid religious crisis.
