Unknown gunmen have abducted the mother of the Secretary to the Bayelsa State Government (SSG), Mrs Betinah Benson.
Mrs Benson, mother of Friday Kombowei Benson, was abducted in commodore style at her residence at the Old Assembly Quarters in Yenagoa, the state capital, Blueprint gathered.In 2013, the 86-year-old mother of the SSG was kidnapped at her country home of Korokorosei in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area by about 10 gunmen in two speed boats.
As at the time of filling this story, Police authorities are yet to confirm the development.
