Again, Nalado loses bid to restore self as Accord Chair

The FCT High Court sitting in the premises of the Sharia Court of Appeals in Gwagwalada has turned down the motion filed by the former National Executive Committee of Accord Party led by Mohammed Lawal Nalado.

The former Chairman of the party has approached the court to stop the current National Chairman Rev. Isaac Adeniyi-led National Working Committee of Accord from parading themselves.

After due consideration, Hon. Justice Akobi deemed it unfit to grant the motion to nullify the emergence of Rev. Isaac Adeniyi led National Working Committee , NWC, while adjourning the case till January 24th 2023.

According to the Judge, Rev Isaac Adeniyi, still remains the substantive National Chairman of Accord.

Mohammed Lawal Nalado had also earlier on the 23rd May, 2022 lost a bid to restore himself and the dissolved National Working Committee by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

It would be recalled that Rev. Issac Adeniyi-led National Working Committee of Accord was elected and inaugurated on the 29th of October, 2022.

Speaking with newsmen on the case, Reverend Adeniyi described the court action as a welcomed development.

The National Chairman of Accord said he would not be distracted as the party is fully prepared for the 2023 general election.

He used the opportunity to call on all Nigerians to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC), and cast their votes for the candidates of the Party in the 2023 poll as Accord has what it takes to reposition Nigeria for greatness.
