Again, Wilfred Ndidi suffers fresh injury layoff

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been confirmed injured and will be out for a few weeks according to Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers.

Ndidi has suffered series of injury setbacks since his return from a lengthy layoff in the off season.

However, it seems he’s set for another spell on the sidelines.
The 25 year-old Nigerian star will miss Leicester City’s trip to Bournemouth, Rodgers confirmed when he gave the squad update ahead of the return of English Premier League (EPL) action this weekend.

Ndidi started last weekend’s match against Nottingham Forest, but was replaced in the second half, as the Foxes marched on to pick up their first league win of the season after a 4-0 demolition of their opponent.

The veteran player was invited to feature for Super Eagles against Algeria in an international friendly game few week ago.

After honouring the invitation, Ndidi caught injury during training and immediately pulled out of the warm up contest in Oran.
