Aguero wants to be a farmer after becoming hooked on iPad game

Fast cars, fancy restaurants and whatever luxuries money can buy are at the disposal of highly paid Premier League superstars, but striker Sergio Aguero gets his kicks from a free iPad farming game.

The injured Manchester City striker has revealed a borderline addiction to Hay Day, a light-hearted simulation game in which players tend to crops and feed their virtual animals.

You can buy machines to get milk out of your cows and then you can make cheese and butter,’ he told Sunday People.
‘It is so much fun. It nearly makes me want to be a farmer.’

Aguero has had time on his hands of late suffering a frustrating run of injuries that has seen him absent from the Premier League since City’s January 29, 5-1 win over Tottenham. He has however played in the Captial One Cup final win against Sunderland, FA Cup quarter loss to Wigan and last appeared in City’s Champions League loss to Barcelona on March 12.

Manuel Pellegrini is being careful not to aggravate his prolific front man, with Aguero warming up with teammates on Saturday but not being named on the bench for their 4-1 win over Southampton.

The manager has confirmed the Argentinean will be unleashed at Anfield on Sunday March 13 in their key league clash against Liverpool, a match many are viewing as a decider between the two title favourites.
