The Flying Eagles has extended their rampant form ahead of next year’s U20 AFCON in Egypt when they trounced AA Zaura Boys of Kano 8-1 in a test game on Thursday morning at the FIFA Goal Project pitch, Package B of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

This was the Flying Eagles fourth friendly since they resumed training camp in Abuja last week.

It was also the first game they let in a goal.

The Flying Eagles led 6-1 at halftime.

Striker Ayuba Francis fired a brace with Ojora Mustapha, captain Yahaya Ibrahim, Aminu Mohammed, Shettima Umar and Olawwiyole Mathew also getting on the scoreboard.

The Flying Eagles will face stiffer opposition when they confront the likes of Niger Tornadoes, Nasarawa United and Wikki Tourists next week before the team goes on Christmas break on December 22.
