Ahmed Musa opens goals account in Saudi Arabia

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa is up and running again after he scored a brace to open his goals’ account for the season and help Al Nassr thrash Afief 5-1 in a King’s Cup tie.

This should bode well for the country, who open their 2021 AFCON qualifying campaign this week against Benin in Uyo.

Musa was sidelined by injury and he has announced he is fully back to business by scoring a brace in his first start since he returned from injury.

One of his goals against Afief was a 30-yard cracker that caught the opposing goalkeeper napping.

The Jos-born star has played in Holland, Russia and England before he joined Saudi Arabia Al Nassr, who he helped crown champions by scoring seven goals last season.
