A’Ibom Govt releases funds for project completion

The Akwa Ibom state governor Mr Udom Emmanuel has approved the release of funds for the completion of ongoing projects in the state.

The commissioner for Works, Akparawa Ephraim Inyangeyen, made the disclosure Tuesday while inspecting the Eket remodeling project to see the level of progress achieved within the Liverpool area at Atabong Junction, Eket.

The Commissioner who recently got media bashing from the leaders and youths of Eket local government area over his uncomplimentary comments about the people of the area said, ” the Governor has directed that all jobs should be done rather than talking. We are out for work not to talk.”

 Inyangeyen said that there is no need to engage in talking but rather, it is expedient to work and put extraordinary efforts towards the completion of phase one of Eket remodeling project.

“We are going to get Eket project completed,  Eket people need the project, and the state Governor need the project, so nothing left more than getting the Eket remodeling phase 1 done”, the Commissioner said.

Mr. Inyangeyen assured Eket people that, any building obstructing the completion of the project and needs to go down for the roundabout to emerge will go down.
