The management of Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi following series of unimpressive performances, climaxed by the round of 16 exit in the Aiteo Cup 2021 to a lower-tier Bayelsa United has placed  the team  technical adviser, Coach Kabiru Dogo and his assistants on half salary and a two match pay cut ultimatum to the players.

Vice Chairman Lobi Stars Mr Emmanuel Tama Aondofa who addressed the team ahead of an NPFL fixture against Katsina United, express his displeasure for the poor away results in the league and the Aiteo Cup ouster and lamented the lack of commitment to work by the technical crew and the players.

According to the Vice chairman, if the results of games  and the general performance of the team is not improved in the next two games, the management will be left with no option than to further enforce the pay cut decision on the players too.

The half pay decision on the coaches takes  immediate effect while the ultimatum on players begins with the match day 33 game of Katsina United vs Lobi Stars to be played  Sunday July 18, 2021(yesterday) in Katsina.

It could be noted that Lobi Stars FC is currently occupying 8th position on the NFPL log with 49 points and presentably good home record, but poor away record.
