Al-Makura greets Muslims at Eid-El-Kabir

Senator representing Nasarawa south senatorial district, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, has felicitated with Muslims as they celebrate the feast of sacrifice.

Senator Al-Makura, who is the immediate past governor of Nasarawa state, called for prayers, patience, and understanding towards peace and development of the state and the country.

A statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary Mr.Danjuma Joseph and made available to Blueprint on Tuesday in Lafia, said, “Eid-el-Kabir teaches and reminds us of the meaning of sacrifice, love and tolerance, in our relationships with one another.

“Let us look beyond the merriment and seize the opportunity of this festival to intensify prayers for our state and the country at large.”

He therefore, urged Muslim Ummah and Nigerians to imbibe the lessons of dedication and obedience as demonstrated in Prophet Ibrahim’s sacrifice of his son in obedience to the instructions of Allah.
