…Says it’s manifestation of APC’s change mantra

Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State has said that the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded Ondo governorship election is an indication that the President Muhammadu Buhari’s change mantra has come to stay.
He stated this in a press release signed by special assistant to the Governor on media and publicity Alhaji Tukur Ahmed, yesterday, the governor described the election of Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) as governor- elect of Ondo state as the most credible in the anal of Nigeria’s democratic experiment.
Governor Al-makura explained that the election was the manifestation of the change that President Buhari has put in place for the country to prosper and bring about the much needed development that the country desire.
Al-makura who also congratulated the people of Ondo state for their patriotism in making a loud and clear decision on the governor –elect which he said will secure their future and that of those yet unborn.
He added that the votes of the people of Ondo have spoken well and good decision to be part of the centre while assuring them that APC –led government in the state will transform Ondo for better.
Al-Makura said he was confident that Mr. Akeredolu will not disappoint his people in the discharge of his duties as governor.
He also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and security agencies for their professional conduct before and during the governorship election.
