Al-Makura nominates state revenue chairman, secretary

 

Governor Umaru Almakura of Nasarawa state has submitted the name of Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed and three others as chairman and members of the state Board of Internal Revenue (NASBIR).
Speaker of the state Assembly, Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, announced the appointment yesterday after the Majority Leader, Alhaji Tanko Tunga (APC-Awe North) read the governor’s letter at the floor of the House in Lafia.
Al-Makura said that their appointment was to improve on the state revenue profile.
Ahmed Mohammed was nominated as chairman while Sabo Balarabe Usman, Emmanuel Zakaria and Ali Mohammed are to serve as members.
The speaker directed the Clerk of the House to communicate to the nominees to come for their screening and confirmation today.
