Alleged imbalance in N-Power and YouWin schemes

I write to crave the indulgence of your humble self on the need to urgently address the agitated growing imbalance in N-Power and YouWin Empowerment intervention programmes, allegedly being lopsidedly implemented to the detriment of some applicants who are supposed to benefit from it, with the growing concerns in some states, including Kano state where the programmes’ focus was discovered and claimed to be flawed.
The programmes were designed to offer applicants opportunity to be included in the scheme of things devoid of acceding to primordial interest, only to discover some acclaimed deliberate lapses being infiltrated into the scheme, the same forces that are now seeking to hijack the programme to the advantage of some anointed class of people that did not even apply for it.
It was however our belief that the N-Power and YouWin will cover all the six geo-political zones, with preference to those who applied for it, but was now alleged to be riddled with inconsistencies, which is seeking to defeat the objectives of the programme.
In Kano for example, the programme appeared to have lost its relevance, focus and direction given the way and manner hundreds of indigenes of the state were grossly dropped from accessing the goodies of the programmes and blatantly replaced with some favoured persons, despite gaining the required pass marks
We see it as an abiding obligation for your esteemed office to set up a high powered committee to investigate the activities and offices of those running the two programmes for sanity in its implementation and justice to all.
The Northern Youth Assembly believes in national unity, equity and justice to all, as the tools that would continue to keep Nigeria one united entity. It is on this note, we repose an unfettered confidence in your capacity and ability to act in the face of the growing alleged inconsistencies, marginalization and injustice permeating the programmes.
We believe that it is not the right thing as far as running the two programmes are concerned, if the allegations are true, especially considering change agenda of the present administration, which seeks to fight corruption and bring sanity into the system, as well as to create jobs for the army of unemployed youths roaming the streets.
While counting on the unalloyed support of your office in shouldering the investigation task, we are also committed to sustaining the giant strides effected by the Buhari administration in creating self employment avenues for Nigerian youths.
Yours sincerely,

Comrade Ibrahim A. Waiya, and
Comrade Adikwu Omale Joshua,
National President, and
National Publicity Secretary,
Northern Youth Assembly
