Kid model and actress, Olayinka Beyonce Omotoyinbo, has advised children in Nigeria, to protect what is left of their future.
She was reacting on social media @iamcuteyinks against the backdrop of rising cases in the society, where parents discourage their wards from their dreams.
Olayinka said, when parents discourage their kids from achieving their dreams, it poses a great challenge to the society.
According to Olayinka, “there are parents that dictate what they want their kids to become, but that should not be the case.
“A child wants to be a musician, but the parents wants her to be a Medical Doctor. Such children struggle academically.
“Our schools should help us tackle this menace, and tell our parents to allow their kids live their dreams.
“It doesn’t boost the moral of a child, that a future they don’t see, is being imposed on them, that is why we have many unfulfilled dreams today.”
