AMAC chair lauds Jonathan over centenary celebration

Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Micah Jiba, has commended  President Goodluck Jonathan for his courage towards a peaceful conduct of the centenary event in the country  Addressing newsmen in Abuja at the weekend, Jiba, who doubles as the chairman of Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), FCT chapter, said the centenary celebration would continue to create synergy amongst all Nigerians, irrespective of their tribes or religion.

He said his wisdom in initiating the celebration would soon “re-engineer, re-strategize and re-generate new ideas and desired result to strengthen the unity of men and women of this country”.
AMAC chairman said that it would serve as a great opportunity for improved, new and practical ways of improving the image of Nigerian, adding that both young and old Nigerians should imbibe principle of oneness, for the common good of all the citizens.

Jiba urged residents in the territory to work together to foster the vision of the founding fathers, which, he said, “is in tandem with the aspirations of the Transformation Agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan”.
He said all departments and sectors of service to the country must always collaborate by sharing ideas and information in all areas as it affects the management of the country.
