
The chairman, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Abdullahi Adamu Candido, in fulfilling his democratic mandates, Wednesday commissioned newly rehabilitated Asphalt Access road in Pyakasa, Toge communities to ease the interconnectivity of the villages and boost the business activities around the council.
The director of works, AMAC, Gaza Andrew, said during the commissioning that the Pyakasa Asphalt Access road is about 750metres with several culverts, cross culverts and passing culverts at every junction of the road to make the road durable and stand a test of time while the Toge access road is about 480metres with drainage on both sides with the earthworks accompanied with culverts that links with Olumi, a village nearby.
He said, “In addition, about 500metres Asphalt road with drainages on both sides in the AMAC secretariat was also commissioned.”
