Amb Njiwah was a diplomat, community leader, Gov. Ishaku mourns

Taraba state governor,  Arc Darius Ishaku, Monday, said the former Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Cameroon, Emmanuel Njiwah was an outstanding diplomat, dependable community leader and patriot.

Ishaku, in a press  statement signed by his senior special adviser on media and publicity,  Mr. Bala Dan Abu and a copy made available to Blueprint in Jalingo said the bridge of unity and cooperation built by the late ambassador between Nigeria and the Republic of Cameroon where he served as Nigeria’s ambassador, had endured till today.

The statement added that governor Ishaku said he received the news of the sudden passing of the ambassador with deep shock.

The statement maintained that the envoy who was appointed a third class chief of Mbamnga chiefdom, served his people with utmost sense of duty and patriotism.

According to the statement, Governor Ishaku described the royal father’s death as a huge loss to Taraba state and Nigeria as a whole.

The statement noted that the governor expressed heartfelt sympathy with the people of Mbamnga chiefdom on the death of their paramount ruler.
