Peoples Democratic Party (PDP’s) stakeholders will on Monday converge at the Dennis Memorial Grammar School, Onitsha, Anambra State for the Presentation of flag to its candidate in the November 18 Anambra state governorship election, Mr. Oseloka Henry Obaze.
National Publicity Secretary of the party Prince Dayo Adeyeye said in a statement Sunday that “On this auspicious occasion of presentation of flag/campaign flag-off, the Chairman of the National Committee for the Anambra state gubernatorial campaign committee, H. E. Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Chairman of Anambra state caretaker committee led by Prof. A.B.C. Nwosu, and other party leaders and supporters will be joining the National Caretaker Committee (NCC) to formerly present the PDP’s Candidate/Deputy to the People of Anambra State.
According to the statement: “It is indeed going to be a great opportunity for Mr. Obaze to roll out his action plan towards uplifting Anambrarians from misgovernance.
“We are optimistic that Anambra State will be better under our great Party’s governance given Mr. Obaze’s credentials and track records which are indelible testimonies of his wealth of knowledge in public and democratic governance.
“We re-iterate the Fact that as a Party, our members in Anambra State made the Right Choice of voting Mr. Obaze as our Flag-Bearer for the November 18, 2017 Governorship Election in Anambra State.
“We once again call on our leaders, stakeholders and numerous supporters in Anambra State in particular and Nigeria in general, to synergize efforts to ensure victory of our Candidate at the Poll.
“Once again, we urge all the aspirants that contested the guber primary election to overcome the troubles they might have gone through and unite with the PDP-Mr. Oseloka to achieve success for our common good. It is time our Party took over government in Anambra State to run peoples policies and programmes of the PDP to restore hope to the people.
“Finally, we call on the electorates in Anambra state to protect their voter cards and come out enmass on Saturday, November 18, 2017, to vote out the Ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and vote in our candidate, Hon. Oseloka Henry Obaze.
“It is clear that Governor Willie Obiano and his party have nothing more to offer to the people, hence the level of infrastructural decay and visible decadents in the State.”
